Honda and Cooper (yes, there’s story there on names haha!) are so in love. I couldn’t help but smile during their whole session with us in Downtown Dallas! When Honda and I started planning her engagement session, she knew that she wanted to be Downtown Dallas and I had the perfect spot in mind.

The Dallas Municipal Building gives us all the urban vibes. The old fashioned light poles in the front paired with the old iron doors makes the perfect backdrop. What’s even more fun is when a bus or car passes just behind you and gives us a stunning blur of yellow; the fast pace of the downtown life somehow speaks to the deeper romantic side of our souls. At one point I even heard myself ask, “Are we in New York City?”

Imagine getting a downtown Dallas engagement session album back and people are trying to figure out if they are still in Dallas or on the streets of Manhattan. We can just pretend!!

Honda is very in tune with fashion and so both Honda and Cooper’s outfits for the night were intentionally picked out to compliment the urban scene. I think you’ll agree that Honda in that white dress suite is a vibe we are willing to go with! Her strappy white heels give such a romantic feel!

Don’t scroll too fast because in the midst of these gorgeous photos, we feature the Statler Hotel here in Dallas! The Statler Hotel is a major statement of a building. I felt like we were in the 60’s and John F. Kennedy might walk up at anytime to check into his presidential suite. If you haven’t stayed there, take your honey there for a romantic weekend getaway. You won’t regret it! And do me a favor…take a picture in front of the old yellow car in the front. And do me another favor, have your engagement session in Downtown Dallas because you will NOT regret it.

After our downtown session with Honda and Cooper, Tori and I grabbed a bite at Wild Salsa and we had NO regrets. Wow! Their watermelon margarita paired with tacos was a meal I will be returning to soon.
