Kaylee & Logan’s Wedding at Stone Crest Venue in McKinney, TX

Wedding

When They Met

Kaylee and Logan met at church one Sunday at their parents’ life group. When Logan went to greet his mom and dad, he noticed Kaylee sitting by the door. All he could remember thinking was, “don’t do anything dumb!”

On her end, Kaylee saw Logan and knew immediately that she had to know more about him. On the car ride home, she told her parents “that guy was cute!” She couldn’t help herself. He was somebody she would not forget soon.

Over the next few weeks, Logan reached out to Kaylee and they started talking nonstop. They eventually got coffee together, went on their first date, met each other’s families, and became best friends.

They decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together because they were a match made in heaven!

The Special Day

On January 1, 2022, Kaylee and Logan tied the knot at the Stone Crest Venue in McKinney, Texas. From start to finish, their celebration was classy, intimate, and meaningful!

Family was at the center of their wedding day and every decision made in the planning process highlighted that. The decor was simple and classy, with a lot white flowers and eucalyptus leaves for a pop of green. The ceremony was understated, traditional, and clearly communicated what the couple cared about the most.

During the ceremony, Kaylee and Logan took communion and had a prayer circle with their respective families to honor their shared faith. Everyone present saw the union as the expansion of their family and it was so precious bearing witness to this moment.

To say their wedding perfectly captured their values, the importance of their loved ones, and their hope for the future as a newly wedded couple is an understatement.

The Moment After The Moment

The most touching moment I witnessed was the first look between Kaylee and her father. Talk about instant waterworks!

It was unbelievably moving from the second the father-of-the-bride laid eyes on his daughter. Her mother was watching from around the corner. For about ten minutes, they embraced each other and shared a sweet, private moment just between them.

Kaylee is an only child so giving her away was especially emotional for her family. My gut tells me that her magical first look with her father is a moment they’ll treasure forever.
